故事围绕南俪、夏君山和女儿夏欢欢、儿子夏超超，田雨岚、颜鹏和儿子颜子悠等多个家庭展开。儿女们即将从小学升入初中，每个家庭都在面临种种变化，亲子关系也在不断沟通与选择中得到新的认知，父母与孩子迎来共同成长。

　　温润如玉的男医生何苏叶（张凌赫 饰）与重度失眠的酒店前厅经理沈惜凡（徐若晗 饰），在一次次看诊和生活中不期而遇并暗生情愫，最终两人在日常点滴中相互治愈，甜蜜收获了一段沁润着草药香的爱情故事。
　　剧集根据笙离的小说《爱你，是我做过最好的事》改编。

　　该剧是讲述偶然拥有99亿现金的郑瑞妍和为了找出弟弟死因的真相而面对郑瑞妍的姜泰宇之间的故事。
　　金刚于将在剧中饰演姜泰宇，在被栽赃嫁祸离开警局之前，他是一个毫不在意身边的事，一闻到事件的味道就冲的“疯牛”。当他离开坚信是自己的天职的警察职业后，没有希望也没有目标，每天虚无度日，他唯一的骄傲——弟弟死了，为了找出弟弟的死因，他遇到了郑瑞妍（赵茹珍 饰）。
